Last-Minute Concert Crowd Control
We got the call at 3PM Friday - a major retailer's parking lot concert needed crowd barriers by 6PM. The asphalt was still steaming from 102° heat, and their security team was panicking about drunk attendees wandering into traffic. Our crew had 90 minutes to block off 800 linear feet near the beer garden entrance.
We mobilized two trucks with pre-assembled 6ft barriers and our patented rapid-install bases. While the band did soundcheck, we anchored sections every 10ft with 50lb water barrels (the concrete truck was stuck in Riverview traffic). The manager high-fived us as the first fans arrived - all danger zones secured with OSHA-compliant sightlines.
These guys saved our liquor license when the county inspector showed up unannounced.
